Travel Must Have's
I've traveled quite a bit over the last 8 years and learned so much along the way. Specifically, what items to travel with and how they are beneficial. From packing for 9 days in Paris in just a carry-on to going to an all-inclusive resort in the Caribbean with more swimsuits than I know what to do with. I want to share some of my must-have items with you all! This first post will be the most important, the suitcase!
My favorite suitcases! First, the Travelpro Crew Versapak 20 inch carry on. This suitcase has it all! Plenty of space, mix and match zip in organizers (additional cost), exterior power bank pocket, it's durable, easy to wheel through a busy airport, and best of all, carry-on size! I've had this for 3 years and it still is holding up better than some other brands of luggage I've used in the past. I've purchased a few different Travelpro products and honestly love them all. Check them out below and happy travels!
My go-to attachment for the Travelpro Crew Versapak is, the packing cube organizer. It has a large pocket as well as two smaller ones on the front. Big enough to fit almost a week's worth of clothes, freeing up the main area of the suitcase for shoes and toiletries. The second one is the all-in-one organizer. Perfect for toiletries or packing wet bathing suits for the trip home. This can be zipped in or just set into the main part of the suitcase (when the packing cube organizer is being used as well).
Let's be real, sometimes we need more than a carry-on suitcase. My mother-in-law actually purchased this one before I did and I loved it so much that I got it as well. Travelpro Maxlite It has tons of space, zippered divider, is lightweight and has a handle on the side for easy lifting. I took this with me on a trip to London and along with my clothes also brought home about 8 bottles of wine in it!
Last, the Travelpro Maxlite compact carry-on. This is small enough to fit under the seat in front of you on an airplane but big enough to fit a couple of days worth of clothes, toiletries, laptops, and chargers. It has a padded laptop sleeve and a removable hanging wet pocket! There is no shortage of storage on this with the front pocket and side pockets. I paired this with my check back on our trip to London (with a spare day's worth of clothes just in case my primary suitcase got lost). To make traveling with 2 bags easy, this also has a strap on the back that slides over the handle of the larger suitcase and sits on top of it.
My husband and I have tried more suitcases than I care to admit and they always end up ripped, with the zipper broken or a wheel broken. So far these are the best I've found (at affordable prices).
Stay tuned for more travel must-haves!
